Mission Statement

Vermilion United exists because Starbase Louisiana raises real questions, and our community deserves real answers. We connect with experts to help answer those questions, share the facts as they're currently known, amplify the voices of the home and land owners most directly affected, and hold our elected officials accountable, without putting that work on any one person's shoulders. We're not anti-SpaceX. We're pro-Vermilion.We're not here to fight or oppose this project. We're here to make sure state laws and regulations are followed, that all parties are held accountable, and that required studies are done thoroughly. We want to see losses minimized and gains maximized, and we want the benefits of this project, economic and otherwise, to actually reach the people who live here. We care about the safety of our communities, our people and our wildlife alike, and we're committed to keeping the public informed with accurate, current information every step of the way.We don't approach this through rose-colored glasses, and we don't approach it through fear. We're aiming for the middle: facts, accountability, and what's best for the people who actually live here. Vermilion can only stand united, not divided, if we keep asking questions, together.Accountability. Transparency. Stewardship.
